FIRST IMPRESSIONS

After a swift and scenic drive from Phuket’s airport, we
were ready to embrace the charm of the resort. As we
parked in front of the hotel’s lobby, the location’s warm
ambience enveloped us: sunlight kissed our skin, birds
quietly hummed, lush greenery surrounded us, and the
sea breeze beckoned us to the shore. The welcoming
nature of the surroundings was magnified as we entered
the open-air lobby, brimming with inviting energy.

The lobby was adorned in chic coastal hues of sandy
beige, oceanic blues, and bright yellows reflecting the
sunshine. My eyes were immediately drawn to the
intricately woven bamboo ceiling, evoking a sense of
holiday, and the captivating mural above the reception
desk. This mural, painted by a local artist, depicted the
vibrant sea life of Mai Khao shores. The welcoming
atmosphere was further enhanced by the attentive
service at reception, where check-in was swift, and
smiles were abundant.
