Being Social
The sprawling 1,200 square metre rooftop on the fi fth fl oor of Central Embassy
has made way for a new dining establishment known as The Siwilai City Club.
Designed as a social club for everyone, it has seven sections, each showcasing
the club’s food and lifestyle philosophies with unique aesthetics and off erings.
Each section is brought to life with custom designed furnishings and diff erent
food and drink menus. Choose to indulge in freshly made sandwiches and
burgers from the Deli, homemade artisanal sodas and ice teas at the Terrace,
seasoned ribs and steaks at The Grill, crunchy and spicy savoury bites at the
City Lounge, or classic cocktails with a masculine slant at the Sports Bar. The

Oasis of Sathorn
Newly opened restaurant Blue Parrot Bangkok is the perfect
place to spend quality time with friends and family. Their tasty
menu includes international cuisine such as Grilled beef strip loin,
Four cheese pizza and light tapas. You can also indulge in their
afternoon tea and drinks menu, while your children cool off in the
swimming pool, draw on the chalkboard and play a fun game of
pétanque (similar to lawn bowling). There is a BBQ and a special
kids’ menu as well. The restaurant opens daily from 11.30am to

The arrival of Spasso’s new Chef de Cuisine Roberto Parentela
brings passion and extensive expertise in Italian and French
cuisine to the restaurant. Amongst his many special creations are:
Vitello tonnato all antica (slow cooked veal loin, Peidmont style
tuna sauce, roasted capsicum, capers), Insalata di capesante
(seared scallops, pumpkin, truffl e puree, local baby spinach,
sour cream, shallot crostini), and Burratina (local creamy burrata
cheese, oven roasted cherry tomatoes, crunchy ciabatta Sicilian
oregano, almond). Roberto was raised with a passion for Italian
food, continuously pushing the boundaries. He loves creating new
fl avours by combining Thai and Italian dishes together, and his
favourite dish is Spicy seafood spaghetti, which is also available at
the restaurant. Spasso is located on the lower lobby at the Grand
Hyatt Erawan Bangkok, and is open from Mondays to Saturdays
from 12pm to 2.30pm and 6.30pm to 10pm, and on Sundays from

A walk through the sixth fl oor of Central Embassy will open your eyes to a new type
of fi t-for-all space. So make way for the trendy Open House, a co-living area with
eight separate zones including a co-working space, dining area with a handful of
popular restaurants like Bao and Buns, Muteki by Mugendai and Peppina, design
shops selling ceramics, furniture and stationery, exhibits of local and international
artworks, and a library with more than 20,000 rare art books. Discover some of
