AIR AMBULANCE
• All ground transportation
Our air ambulance service is available for both domestic and international services.
Helicopters are used for cases within 250 kilometers of Bangkok. Airplanes are used to
provide convenient and rapid transportation for patients from more distant provinces
and neighboring countries such as Vietnam, Bangladesh and China.
We provide a team of doctors and nurses who specialize in treating children and medical
professionals with a specialty in aviation medicine (called a Flight Nurse) that has been
trained to give medical assistance in the aircraft during an air evacuation. Ordinary
medical equipment cannot be used for air evacuations due to the constant loud noise
of the helicopter or airplane. Special medical devices and equipment are needed that
not only provide efficient medical assistance but also do not interfere with the aircraft’s
navigation equipment. Patient safety is paramount. After receiving information about
a case, our team of medical professionals assesses the symptoms and the patient’s
stability, and then determines whether air evacuation is suitable. If the air ambulance is
deemed to be the best option, the medical team immediately contacts flight operations
officers who evaluate weather conditions before takeoff. Working as a team enhances
the effectiveness and efficiency of our air ambulance services
