         INTERNATIONAL VESAK DAY 2024
         On 22 May, the Swami Vivekananda Cultural Centre,
         in collaboration with the Embassy of India in Bangkok,
         celebrated International Vesak Day 2024 by hosting
         a talk on the “Role of King Ashoka in Spreading
         Buddhism in Thailand.” Opening remarks were
         made by H.E. Mr. Nagesh Singh, the Ambassador of
         India to Thailand; while the Venerable PM. Surasak
         Paccantaseno, the Vice Rector for Foreign Affairs,
         Mahachulalongkornrajvidyalaya University, was the
         Guest Speaker for the event, which was a  great
            success.
