Joseph Sampermans started his career in 1995 in a
managerial position at the Mandarin Oriental Phuket Yacht
Club. He then served in F&B leadership positions at the

Raffles Hotels in Hamburg, Siem Reap, Phnom Penh and
Osaka. He continued to move across the globe with The
Peninsula Hotels, from their luxurious property in Bangkok
as F&B Manager, to Tokyo as Resident Manager, Hong Kong
as Hotel Manager and Beijing as General Manager. Finally,
he returned to Bangkok in late 2016. He now helms The
Peninsula Bangkok as the General Manager.
