INDIA’S 78TH INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION
On 15 August, the Embassy of India in Thailand hosted
a celebration of India’s 78th Independence Day. The
auspicious occasion began with a flag-raising ceremony,
followed by H.E. Nagesh Singh, the Indian Ambassador
to Thailand, inspiring guests with a reading of the
annual Independence Day speech by Droupadi Murmu,
President of India. Afterwards, guests enjoyed vibrant
cultural performances and an awards ceremony, before
enjoying delicious Indian treats.
