physiotherapy, tness, and spa treatments, aiming to rede ne holistic
wellness in the city. With plans to introduce Traditional Chinese
Medicine services in 2025, this partnership is set to elevate the

‘MY SAWASDEE’ TRAIN ROUTE
FROM BANGKOK TO PENANG
All aboard! Thailand and Malaysia have of cially revived the
My Sawasdee express train route – a direct train service between
Bangkok and Butterworth in Penang, Malaysia; with the inaugural
journey set to depart before the year wraps up. After the State
Railway of Thailand suspended the express route in 2016, travellers
to Penang have had to switch trains in Padang Besar. However,
this return marks a thrilling resurgence in rail travel across Asia,
especially following the success of the Asean Express train linking
Malaysia, Thailand, Laos, and China.

Anantara Layan Phuket Resort has launched Layan Life by
Anantara, a wellness retreat offering bespoke programmes

CURVISTAN
BANGKOK
Curvistan, a collaborative project between
Porsche and Stefan Bogner, creator of
Curves magazine, has opened a new venue
in Bangkok, offering a blend of car culture,
design, art, and coffee. Located in Sukhumvit
Soi 38 near BTS Thonglor station, it serves
as a hub for Porsche enthusiasts, and is a
self-proclaimed “cafe, bar, gallery, event
space and hangout, all rolled into one.”
This particular branch is a collaboration
between Stefan Bogner and Chanond
Ruangkritya, a Porsche enthusiast and
CEO of Ananda, a leading developer of
residential projects in Bangkok. Supported
by Porsche Thailand and partners like Das
Treffen and Vitra, Curvistan Bangkok is
designed to foster community and celebrate
the ‘Porsche lifestyle’ through exhibitions,
social gatherings, and curated experiences.
