Dear Masala,
I really enjoyed reading the Bollywood article, “Unapologetically Feminist or
Highly Sexist?” I loved how the piece delved into details on each decade of
Indian cinema and pointed out exactly where a movie went wrong. It really
made me see a couple of them in a new light and made me appreciate ones
that have done it right!

Dear Masala,
“The Best Ladies’ Night in Town” by Temur Yusuf was a very fun read. Thanks
to the compiled list of bars and clubs, I now know what I am going to be doing
this weekend. The selection includes a lot of variety, making it the perfect
guide for exploring Bangkok’s diverse nightlife. Nothing beats a great night

Dear Masala,
The cover story “Who Run the World?” is an inspirational read for
women everywhere. Sunaina Kwatra’s con dence is infectious and her
entrepreneurial spirit is admirable. In a male-dominated society, it feels
great to see a woman of such calibre taking on the role of a leader and
nding immense success along the way. I wish her all the best for her
future endeavours.

Dear Masala,
I found “Know Safety, No Pain” very helpful. The compiled list of safety apps
and modes of transportation are de nitely useful facilities that everyone, not
only women, should bear in mind when travelling to India. Women’s safety in
India has always been a great matter of concern, so thank you for addressing
this issue and providing us with helpful tips.
