Resort Vana Nava Hua Hin, Asia’s fi rst Holiday
MInn water park resort that has already entertained
famous guests like Bollywood superstar Madhuri Dixit
Nene. The upscale property boasts an array of recreational
facilities, including their exclusive Vana Nava Water Jungle, an
underwater wonderland that offers excitement for all. Located
near Hua Hin’s historical city centre, guests can also easily visit
the region’s most popular attractions, such as its pristine golf
courses and old-town shopping district; all of which appeal to
adventure-seekers and leisure-travellers alike.

As my companion and I arrived at the hotel, we were
immediately greeted by spectacular views of the glittering
ocean and surrounding hills at the property’s seven-storey
high lobby. The spacious interiors are also painted in blue hues,
complemented by modern wooden furniture. Subtly refl ecting
the fl oor-to-ceiling windows is natural light, which fi lls the lobby
with a warm and inviting glow. During check-in, the friendly and Ground fl oor entrance
knowledgeable staff share the unique story behind the hotel’s
décor. Everything from light fi xtures to the elaborate art work
features an underwater motif that highlights the region’s rich
history as a successful fi shing village.

As we received the details of our stay, we were also introduced
to unique electronic wristbands that granted access to our
rooms and neighbouring water park. These innovative straps
can be topped up with money as well to minimise the stress of
carrying around cash and cards. After thoughtful clarifi cation,
we later proceeded to our Twin Bed Ocean View Room on the
19th fl oor. We were greeted by homey blue and white interiors,
where a painting by a local artist and fi sh scale tiles in the
bathroom brought the underwater theme to life. Meanwhile, the
spacious balcony provided beautiful vistas of the surrounding
ocean, while the modern indoor lounger allows for unspoiled
views of the adjacent water park.

Other than the Twin Bed Ocean View Room, there are also
a wide variety of other accommodations to suit all types of
travellers. The special 1 King and 2 Single Beds Kids Suite
is perfect for families, combining the modern luxuries of a
suite with an artistically-designed kids’ corner fi tted with
bunk beds.

There are a number of on-site dining options, but for all-day
meals look no further than Plamong Restaurant, which also has
outdoor patio seating, perfect for taking in scenic views while
enjoying a scrumptious meal. The eatery offers a delicious
international breakfast buffet with live cooking stations, while
their a-la-carte menu features Asian-inspired fl avours, such as
Larb tuna and Shredded hoisin duck wraps, and hearty Italian
classics like Spaghetti bolognese.
