The Holi Rangotsav Festival of Colors 2018 brought together

diverse communities for a wonderful celebration of hues.

he much-awaited Holi Rangotsav Festival of Colors
2018 was held at Show DC, Oasis Arena on Rama 9, on
T March 11th, from 10am to 5pm. Many diverse societies
came together for this popular annual event to dance and throw
colours on each other while singing ‘Holi Hai!’ Organised by Vishwa
Hindu Parishad (VHP) Association Thailand, the celebration was
created to strengthen friendships and honour deep-rooted social
and cultural relations between India and Thailand. This year, the
association made special efforts to use organic herbal powder made
from flowers and vegetables, instead of synthetic colours, to ensure
a risk-free Holi. The festive day was also filled with finger-licking
food, age-old traditions and unrestrained fun. Dignitaries such
as the Ambassador of India to Thailand, the former Tourism and
Sports Minister of Thailand and the Deputy Chief of Mission from
the Embassy of India also attended the event to
celebrate the vibrant festival.
