Ensuite bathroom
The Mehta family
flea market finds, which Manju embellished with key chains she had
purchased during her travels. The black floor-to-ceiling Asian screens are
used instead of curtains to cast more light into the room. A decorative
Moroccan wall lamp signifies the entrance to the bathroom, with a black
door separating the shower and toilet from the wash basin area. A bright
mosaic wall painting brightens up the space, while different textured walls
in the shower area add charm.
The entire Mehta house embodies a sense of calm in a contemporary
setting. There is not a single item that is out of place, as the Mehtas
welcome any guest or visitor to freely wander about any room. Simplicity
is key, and the Mehta family has implemented that ideal perfectly.
