A DIWALI LIT

              The Thai Sindhi Association (TSA) celebrated a
           magical Diwali under a starry night, complete with an
                   open bar, dinner, and entertainment.

           In early November, community members came together to
           celebrate Diwali in the most glamorous of ways, dressed in their
           best and with joyous moods during an enchanting evening that was
           wonderfully organised and hosted by the Thai Sindhi Association
           (TSA). This rewarding occasion, graced by dignitaries and brimming
           with cultural richness, is a yearly milestone in the festive calendar
           of the Thai-Indian community in Bangkok, made possible by the
           President of the TSA, Deepak Sajnani.
                                                               The celebratory event also presented the soft launch of the TSA
           Appropriately named the Blue Moon Diwali Ball, the event   Sindhi Directory 2024, a project initiated by TSA Vice President
           warmly welcomed esteemed guests such as H.E. Nagesh Singh, the   Jacky Ramani, for a deserved update. The lavish affair was held
           Indian Ambassador to Thailand; and the Brazilian Ambassador to   at the exquisite InterContinental Bangkok in Ratchaprasong,
           Thailand, H.E. Jose Borges Dos Santos Jr. Other notable figures   featuring captivating performances, including a special presentation
           of the Thai-Indian community that graced the event with their   of The Ramakien by Thai artists, Bollywood dances, and moving
           presence included Kenny Nawani, a founding member of the TSA   tunes by DJ Sunny from India, which enticed all to join in the fun
           (1976); the President of the Indian Association of Thailand (IAT),  on an open dance floor. The evening culminated with delectable
           Papni ‘Chuan’ Thakur; the President of the India-Thai Chamber   dishes for dinner and the chance for attendees to win various
           of Commerce (ITCC), Sushil Dhanuka; and Vice Chairman of   valuable prizes through a lucky draw. It’s safe to say the Blue Moon
           the Joint Foreign Chamber of Commerce in Thailand, Ravi Sehgal.  Diwali Ball was not only a success, but a fulfilling experience for all.
