lively India, and culinary Greece.

ach time my husband prepares for a work trip to Japan, I hear the phrase, “send me your list!”, referring to a compilation of all
the items I would like him to procure in Japan for my daughter and myself. Creating this list should be fun and entertaining,
but for me it ends up being a frustrating game of opportunity costs. There are so many items to buy, but of course there is
limited luggage space and weight allowance, necessitating narrowing down and refining the list, and contingency plans. It’s
an art, but also the most stressful part of the whole affair.
In this piece, we detail out some fun yet valuable items to purchase not just from Japan (including shopping destinations for
new mothers); but also in Mother India, outlining four worthwhile categories to seek out; and finally, in Greece for some
gastronomic necessities. Travel to these three countries with us, with a plan on how to organise your suitcases on the way home!
