“the traditional designer”, continues to absorb the
Erichness of Indian weaves, textures and embroidery
in her creations. She believes in staying true to her roots and
the beauty it symbolises.
Her latest collection is all about blending traditional textures
with modern cuts and drapes. The silhouettes are essentially
Indian with frills and furs, blending in Western fusion aspects
in some styles.
“I’m always mesmerised by the beauty and textures of Indian
fabric. The Benarasi weave is predominant in my new lot. I
hope people enjoy wearing it, as much as I enjoyed crafting it
in my head to the point of seeing fruition.”
