MAKING AN ENTR ANCE!
Be part of a live band
This is perfect for couples who love and
appreciate live music. A band can introduce
you with a song that means the most to both
of you. You can also pretend to be part of the
band by playing an instrument or joining the
backup dancers as the main performers.

You love the story of how you two met and would like
to share the tale by partaking in a romantic skit. For this
type of entrance, family members and friends can even
join you. This would definitely involve rehearsals, and if
need be, could also include pre-recorded audio for better
sound. Speak to your light and sound team to properly
prepare for the spotlight.

Blast from the past
Create a medley of the songs your parents fell in love with. This
would be a great way to involve family members, particularly elders
who tend to get lost in modern-day Bollywood and Western tunes.
So slow dance to an old and meaningful song, and let the emcee
invite your family members to join you on stage. This will give you a
break from the constant limelight, if that is not your thing!

T ake the lead
Planning a simple, classic and graceful reception? What better way
to make your entrance than with a musician, such as a violinist,
saxophonist or flutist, leading your way inside. Speak to them
beforehand to decide upon the best song, what path to walk and
what they should wear to blend in well with the theme and décor of
the party. For them, pick neutral colours and simple designs so the
focus is entirely on the two of you, especially in photos.
