Me age from
President of TIWA
am honoured to be a part of an organisation that plays such a significant role in
supporting the growth and development of Thailand’s ever-expanding Indian
I wedding industry. We are grateful to be endorsed by the Tourism Authority
of Thailand (TAT) who have supported our vision since our inception, and we look
forward to working together on various marketing and promotional ventures.
TIWA’s singular purpose is to promote, protect and preserve the Indian wedding
industry in Thailand by establishing itself as the authoritative voice of the industry.
By raising red flags, addressing important issues and resolving conflicts as they
arise, we aim to provide a definitive platform of standardisation, as well as offer
training and consultancy with the confidence that our collective efforts will
further enhance this young, yet flourishing industry.
TIWA will also be an invaluable source of information for both industry veterans
and individuals who plan on penetrating the market in the future. This wealth of
knowledge will be available through practical workshops and MasterClasses, as
well as on online channels, including a comprehensive website, e-newsletters and
various social media platforms. In addition, TIWA will also act as a marketing and
promotional arm for the Thai Indian wedding industry, conducting road shows,
FAM trips, and participating in wedding fairs based in countries of interest.
Valued members of TIWA can be rest assured that our association is happy
to liaise wherever and whenever necessary. This is not only between industry
members themselves but also between members and government agencies. Our
objective is to make Thailand a premier destination for Indian weddings, therefore
the work our association does is now crucial to everyone’s success in the future.
Sincerely,
R AM S ACHDE V
President
Thai Indian Wedding Association (TIWA)
