‘Barefaced Beauty’ (page 48)
Nina Sachdev is a business development manager at Mintel, where she guides companies on growth and
innovation. Her personal interests include studying new ideas and trends. She is now in love with the Barefaced
Revolution trend that is currently sweeping the Western world. “As much as I adore my collection of Tarte
blushes and lipsticks, I also love to step back and go make-up free,” she says. “I have always admired highly-
accomplished women who feel comfortable in their own skin, and don’t feel the need to paint on a mask for the
world. So what if you have a blemish on your cheek or if your eyelashes don’t curl up naturally?”
Amornrat Sachdev
‘Tough Questions that Modern Women Must Answer Today’ (page 80)
Amornrat Sachdev is a counsellor and author of Attack My Anxiety! Her inspiration for the article came from the
Thai-Indian society where everyone is pursuing their own dreams and living life on their own terms. For many
women, several decisions and choices became possible just a few years ago, depicting a stark contrast in how
two people may have lived their lives. She wanted to show a glimpse of the choices women have to make and
how there is no rulebook anymore.
