Is it harmful to exercise with makeup on?
             Proper makeup removal beforehand is a better option. Skin pores and sweat
             glands open up during exercise in order to cool down our body. Wearing
             makeup can hinder sweating and dilated pores, resulting in clogged pores,
             breakouts and skin irritation.
             How soon do you need to remove your makeup?
             Washing your makeup o  as soon as you can, or every night before you go
             to sleep, is very important. Sleeping with makeup on usually causes clogged
             pores, breakouts and skin irritation. It’s not just makeup, as environmental
             factors come into play as well. Pollutants from each day accumulate on
             the skin, combining makeup with dirt. These cause oxidative stress which
             produces free radicals that can damage your skin, and may even decrease
             collagen production which leads to prematurely aging skin.

             Moreover, since skin renews itself at night, residual makeup and dirt can
             interfere with the skin’s natural healing process and shedding, which results in
             dull looking skin. When wearing foundation, always double cleanse your skin
             and moisturise at night.
