             Exuding a tranquil, spa-like atmosphere, entering Hagi
             at Centara Grand at Central Plaza Ladprao Bangkok
             feels like stepping into a traditional Japanese house,
             complete with decorative screens, paintings, artefacts
             and lantern-shaped lights on the walls and ceilings.
             Using mainly imported Japanese ingredients, the
             restaurant focuses on serving classic Japanese cuisine.
             Diners are assured of the authenticity of the food,
             as Head Chef Hiroaki Yamaguchi hails from Kyoto,
             and has been preparing and cooking Japanese food
             for more than 36 years. Having proved his mettle at
             several fi ve-star hotels in Manila, Seoul, Istanbul,
             Penang and Bangkok, he now takes over the kitchen at
             Hagi to continue upholding the restaurant’s reputation
             for serving legitimate Japanese cuisine.
