Sachdev. The 27-year-old Category R&D Associate – SWB at
RB is anything but a conformist. Exuding classic chic with a fun Ray Ban sunglasses
and quirky twist, Rakshet isn’t afraid to stand out from the crowd.
“I enjoy wearing items that are different,” he candidly says. “I like
looking at nonconventional prints, colours, patterns and textures;
things you wouldn’t regularly wear on most days.”

For him fashion is more than just the clothes themselves. “It is an for himself
important way for someone to express who they are without using
words,” he explains. “You can tell a lot about a person by the way
they dress and how they carry themselves. For example, my friend
recently sent me an article that described how people who wear
crazy socks are more intelligent and outgoing. Now I might not be
outgoing at parties but my style is a way to show that I am.”
With an endless drip of new ‘ins’ and ‘outs’, it can be hard on
both your wallet and wardrobe to constantly play catch-up with
the latest menswear collections. So how does our It Guy always
manage to look so effortlessly up-to-date? “I stick to my guts,” he
says with a smile. “If I like something and it fi ts well, I buy it, and Wallet from Bottega Veneta
somewhere along the line, I will fi nd a way to wear it.” Plus, luxury
items are only reserved for everyday essentials that don’t go out
of style. “You don’t always have to go for brand names. I wish
Bangkok had more vintage markets, where you could get small
knick knacks to add to your outfi ts.”
With a penchant for bold and unconventional outfi ts, has Rakshet
ever felt conscious of his sartorial selections? “Sometimes I
second guess myself before walking out the door,” he shares.
“While growing up, I knew my style was very infl uenced by society. Happy Socks simply because “life is too short
