Amornrat Sidhu
‘Psychological Research Says My Dadi Was Right: Part II’ (page 50)
Amornrat Sidhu is the author of ‘Attack My Anxiety’ and a school counsellor, formerly at
Bangkok Prep. She currently works in Northside Primary School in Gaborone, Botswana.
Her inspiration for this article was, of course, her grandmothers and their uncanny
ability to always be right. In this light-hearted piece, Amornrat shares how familiar
Indian expressions may hold more wisdom than we initially realise.
Laxshmi Sachathep
‘Hidden Sugars in our Everyday Foods’ (page 76)
Currently working as the Content Development Officer at Unique Access Medical and
Verita Healthcare Group, Laxshmi Sachathep is leading the video production, graphic
design, content writing and coordination teams. She also oversees the translation of
five health brands. Apart from work, Laxshmi is a health enthusiast, and enjoys seeking
out medical innovations that can truly change people’s lives.
Nina Sachdev
‘Forever Young’ (page 80)
Nina Sachdev is currently a manager at a British innovation research company. From
her observations, she noted that the theme of time has always been to try to hold on to
youth. And over time, people are learning more about lifestyle techniques to slow down
and embrace ageing. Set aside all those expensive laser and Botox treatments, the most
important aspect is to be kind to yourself and look after your mental health. For her latest
feature, Nina gets candid with Dr. Sasithorn Sachdev to create awareness about how it’s
never too late to take care of yourself.
