goals for years now, Riteish Deshmukh and Genelia D’souza’s story is
straight out of fairy tales. From strangers to friends to lovers, and fi nally,
life partners, Bollywood’s most adorable couple marked their sixth
anniversary this year. The wedding of Riteish, a Maharashtrian Hindu,
and Genelia, a Mangalorean Catholic,
was a grand fi ve day affair that
included a Marathi ceremony followed
by a church wedding; a beautiful
amalgamation of two different
traditions. The wedding ceremony,
held in the Taj Lands End, Mumbai, saw
Genelia in an elegant white lehenga
choli designed by Manish Malhotra,
while Riteish shined in his royal blue
sherwani. The reception, held at Grand
Hyatt Mumbai, was a star-studded
event that will stay memorable for
years to come.
