Despite trying to keep things intimate, the wedding of
Bollywood’s power couple was covered intensively by the
media. With a short guest list that included only closest friends
and family, the couple got married in a private ceremony in
Mumbai. However, the ceremonies and functions were nothing
short of fabulous. With a wedding budget of six crore, the
couple’s reception feast was prepared by chefs from The Taj
Mahal Palace Hotel, serving a scrumptious combination of
Indian, Chinese and Continental cuisines. Aishwarya turned
heads in her Neeta Lulla red and gold zari embellished saree
paired with her 53-carat solitaire engagement ring that
reportedly cost a whopping 50 lakh, while Abhishek wore
a gold and white sherwani designed by Abu Jani - Sandeep
Khosla. Not to mention, the 15kg of henna for Aishwarya came
straight from Rajasthan! The pair recently celebrated their 11th
anniversary by sharing a few pictures of their journey together,
reminding everyone why they are the ultimate power couple in
the Hindi fi lm industry.
