A VIR TUAL DIRECTION

Do we even need to explain this one?
             Reigning supreme among millennial
             brides-to-be, it’s basically impossible
to plan a wedding without consulting

             Pinterest first. The pinboard social

media app is essential for finding
             inspiration for everything from
             tablecloths and decorations, to the

bigger decisions like rings and outfits.
Prefer not to display your wedding style
publicly? No problem, you can pin to
             secret boards too.

                                                # HASHTAGS

Wedding hashtags are a great way to combine all those fun Instagram and
Facebook pictures into one easily clickable place. But if you’re having trouble
coming up with your own, here are some tips that don’t depend on the generic
                                                online hashtag generators.

                                                1. Reach out to people. Start with a social media post inviting everyone to
share ideas and start a wedding hashtag list. The creativity from your crew
                                                  might just surprise you.

                                                2. Personalise it. Start by writing down your names and wedding date. Then
play around with different words. Embrace alliteration!

                                                3. Make it catchy and avoid hard-to-spell words, otherwise it’s very likely that
you will miss a lot of the photos due to misspelled hashtags.

                                                4. Spread the word. Once you’ve settled on the hashtag, don’t shy away from
using it. Make sure it is present on websites and e-invites. You can also print
it on the cocktail napkins at the bar for further exposure.
