Hindi and Thai channels seem like a relaxing option as well.
The bathroom is almost twice the size of a typical hotel
bathroom, with a separate Jacuzzi bathtub and shower. The
amenities are no doubt up to par, fi tting the standards of a
Marriott property. However, the best part is yet to be seen – a
private outdoor sala, which gives me a direct and secluded
view of the white sandy beaches and sapphire seas. An
intimate pool lies in the backyard, and I can’t wait to take
the plunge once the skies turn darker and the stars shine
brighter.
Upon dusk, I head towards one of the resort’s restaurants, The Andaman Kitchen restaurant
Big Fish for dinner. This establishment is perched upon
the beachfront, with an array of signature grill and seafood
dishes, bought fresh from the local fi shermen. With indoor
and outdoor seating options, both picks off er stunning
panoramic views of the ocean. Choosing to sit outdoor, the
ambience is relaxing as the waiters make light conversation
and ask us about our food preferences. The menu also
consists of a number of vegetarian options, in addition to
the premium seafood variety. A walk of less than 50 metres
brings me to the Big Fish bar, where a delicious cocktail
awaits. An especially wonderful time to indulge in these
fruity concoctions is during sunset, when the views are
spectacular.
The resort has two more restaurants, namely The Andaman
Kitchen and The Lounge. The former is an all-day dining
establishment that serves breakfast, as well as Thai and
international cuisines. The vegetarian Tom yum soup is
highly recommended. Meanwhile, the latter has a more
relaxed vibe, with delicious drinks and snack off erings.
