What inspired you to start up Form here in Bangkok?
             Before I came to Bangkok, I was actually training a few people who
             had slip disk injuries and sclerosis. I was applying my learning
             from multiple workshops to my training and watching how it really
             transformed people’s lives. They were actually getting better. So I
             thought the best way to share my learning with more people would be
             to have my own  tness centre.
             At Form, we can tell our customers exactly what is causing the pain,
             eliminating the issue and advising them on how to exercise properly
             and get  t without any pain and injury. The thing is exercise is like
             medicine because a lot of pain-related issues or poor cardio health,
             obesity and diabetes can be solved with exercise, and that is what I
             am trying to coach people here.

             Why do you think people don’t realise the importance
             of physiotherapy?
             I think it is to do with cultural di erences. Doctors are highly
             regarded in Asian societies more so than in the West, so when you
             have a health issue, you consult a doctor  rst for advice before
             you think about a physiotherapist. People only tend to think about
             physiotherapy when they have something severe like a broken bone.
             But there are other less obvious injuries that only a physiotherapist’s
             trained eye can discover, particularly joint and muscle problems.

                                                                 What kind of people come to Form to be treated?
                                                                 Usually youngsters and those who perform a lot of outdoor activities
                                                                 as they struggle with knee problems. Then there are those a  icted
                                                                 with what we call o  ce syndrome, which involves constant shoulder
                                                                 and back pain. We have also seen a lot of  t people with certain issues
                                                                 where their hip locks in one side and they don’t realise it. Even people
                                                                 who exercise regularly need to take care of certain things to avoid
                                                                 injury because it is better to be safe than sorry.
