Prasan’s collection of 109 Ganeshas in different forms Prayer room
The end of the hallway in the foyer leads up to the remaining two bedrooms,
including the master bedroom and D.C.’s home office, as well as a cosy and vibrant
family room. Prasan has decorated this expansive space for a more intimate
setting. Red velvet sofas with floral printed cushions and a comfortable sofa with
animalistic prints in earthy tones create a lively atmosphere. A corner of the room
has been converted into an indoor seating area, in shades of cream and lavender. A
Bluetooth photo frame slides through family photos, including a recent photo shoot
in Malaysia showing the whole family together for a vacation. Another memento
hangs on the wall – ethnic beadwork handmade by D.C.’s maternal great, great-
grandmother, circa early 1900s.
The beautiful memorabilia and exquisite valuables that are a part of Prasan’s
collections have made the Bohara home admired by many of their friends. The
warmth and kindness of the couple resonates throughout the house, as rays of
sunlight spread over a large balcony from which one can see a beautiful view of
Bangkok, from the heart of the city.
