( ) ENSURING TIMELY AND EFFECTIVE TREATMENT

                                                                       THROUGH REGULAR HEALTHCARE
Two years ago, a Japanese man in his mid-fifties, accompanied by
his wife, underwent a medical examination at Sukumvit Hospital
due to a week-long bout of constipation. Following the examination,
the doctor recommended a colonoscopy, revealing malignant polyps
in his large intestine. Subsequently, the doctor devised a surgical

Despite the husband’s typically-good health, the unexpected
discovery of the polyps prompted his wife, Mrs. Phaipattana Sobue,
to opt for a colonoscopy herself with the same doctor who treated
her husband. The results also indicated suspicious polyps in her
large intestine. Mrs. Phaipattana shared details about the case and
her husband’s experience during the examination.
“My husband, always in good health with no prior symptoms,
got diagnosed with malignant polyps, which really shocked me.
This raised concerns about the possibility that I would face a

also discovered suspicious polyps. The doctor ran more tests, and
luckily, they were not cancerous, unlike my husband’s case. He
had Stage 4 colon cancer, and needed surgery and chemotherapy.
Despite the excellent care he received, I strongly suggest regular
