Amazon Prime Video, HBO Go and Disney+ Hotstar.
The Acolyte (Disney+ Hotstar)
Hot on the heels of recent Disney+ television
successes, The Acolyte becomes the latest addition
to the expansive Star Wars universe. Marred with
shadowy secrets and emerging dark-side powers
during the final days of the High Republic era, a
century before Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom
Menace (1999), the series follows a respected Jedi
Master who investigates a series of crimes that lead
to a surprising encounter with a former Padawan,
revealing a greater sinister force. The series stars
Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto,
Dafne Keen, and Carrie-Anne Moss, and is directed
by Leslye Headland.

Mothers’ Instinct (Amazon Prime Video)
Anne Hathaway and Jessica Chastain star in
veteran cinematographer Benoît Delhomme’s
directorial debut. Mothers’ Instinct is a psychological
thriller set in a 1960s suburb, where the lives of
next-door neighbours Celine (Hathaway) and Alice
(Chastain) are shaken to the core by a tragic event
surrounding their children. The harmonious dynamic
of the two best friends is thrown off-course as guilt,
suspicion, and paranoia take over, shattering a once-
unshakable sisterly bond. Based on the novel of the
same name by Barbara Abel, this adaptation aims
to captivate the audience with its vintage aesthetics
and dark suburban tale.

House of the Dragon Season 2 (HBO GO)
Years have passed and the Targaryen bloodline
remains fractured and at odds from all sides.
The hit show returns for its second season as
Rhaenyra Targaryen (Emma D’Arcy) struggles
between cautious political strategy and outright
rage and volatility. Her adversaries have usurped
the Iron Throne, cutting a clear line between two
factions, nicknamed ‘the Blacks’, those who back
the former; and ‘the Greens’, supporters led by
Alicent Hightower (Olivia Cooke) who wish to keep
Rhaenyra’s half-brother, Aegon II Targaryen, the
ruler of Westeros. As tempers flare, newly hired
assassins and spymasters roam the realm, and the
intrigue and action is sure to be ramped amped up
for this new season!

The Bear Season 3 (Disney+ Hotstar)
The hit FX show The Bear (2022- ) returns for its third
season, packed with its signature chaotic, anxiety-
inducing yet compelling scenes of a local Chicago
kitchen churning out culinary brilliance. Chef Carmen
‘Carmy’ Berzatto (Jeremy Allen White) is working
his way to finally opening the restaurant to the
public, while juggling the hectic nature of running
a kitchen. While the previous season focused on the
various aspects outside the restaurant, maintaining
the fast-paced tempo, the latest season will focus
more on the functionality of Carmy’s restaurant,
from getting back to cooking up a storm to finalising
the menu before their grand opening.
