Congratulations to Professor Suradej Hongeng. M.D. Pediatrician, Head of the Pediatric
Cancer and Hematopoietic Stem Cell Transplantation Unit for being awarded the Outstanding

Technologist of the Year 2023. This prestigious honor is bestowed by the Foundation for the
Promotion of Science and Technology under the Patronage of H.M. the King, and the Thailand

Management Association (TMA). This recognition is for his work in the “Development of
innovative cancer treatment with immunotherapy using genetically engineered chimeric

antigen receptors T-cells (CAR-T), employing cell technology and gene therapy.”
